Happy Birthday to Me!
My students all think that I am 11, not really but they play along with it.
This is a hard birthday, being the introspective person that I am. What have I accomplished? What have I done with the time I have spent here?
Maybe this thought thread is due to the fact that President Hinkley passed away yesterday and he was one of the prophets I served under during my mission and made an amazing impact on my life.
Gailon has only known one prophet since joining the church, so this is even more interesting process for him.

Congratulations!!
I was awakened this morning by the shrill ringing of the phone! It made me nervous, wondering who would be calling me at such an early hour! Silly me, the room was still dark, but the sun was out and it was 6:45. The lovely interuption to my lazy monday morning was my friend Jen calling to tell me that she is getting married!! I am so excited for her! This means another trip to Utah!!!! We were there in November, December, we will be there in February and now March! So exciting! We should get frequent visitor passes or something!

Happy New Year!
Well, we are finally back home. This holiday season we spent with family and friends in Utah. We got to see the newest Musser, what a pretty little thing she is. It is so hard going to Ogden because we feel so at home there, and then we have to leave to come back to California. I, of course, forgot my camera, but luckily for me, Gailon had his. As soon as he gets the pictures ready, I can post a few here.
We made it back on New Year's Eve and enjoyed a quiet evening at home. For once Gailon was not deathly ill! What a nice change!
One of the things that I am going to try to do this year is keep up the blog. This way others will be able to see what is going on with us. A quick and easy way to communicate!

Holy Macaroni and Cheese!!
Is this month passing by too quickly for anyone else? I can hardly believe that we have Winter Break in two weeks! Of course, I am no knocking it, but holy macaroni and cheese! I have so much to do!!
We are getting ready for another photo shoot. I think that the weekends for the next few weeks are totally photo filled adventures! Between family photos, head shots, and a wedding, whew! I am already tired! But it is good to see Gailon doing something that he enjoys and is good at.
Last night we took photos for an Institute dance at Cal State L.A. Andrew asked Gailon and of course he jumped at the opportunity. We had fun trying out some new equipment. Some of the couples were very creative in their poses, which made it fun for us. Many just wanted the traditional dance photo. All in all it was fun and a good experience for Gailon.
Today we have two photo shoots and then Gailon will have to get to work on all the fun photoshop stuff. He is going to show me how to do all the things he does, that way I can assist a bit more.
I am still working on our Christmas cards. I may actually get one out this year! I have never been the "family letter, Christmas photo and card" kinda gal. But I figure, maybe I should. So, I am still making an attempt.

Happy Thanksgiving!
What a great time we had this Thanksgiving! We were able to take a trip out to Utah and visit. While we were there, we also had the wonderful opportunity to take some fantastic family photos for the Anderson, Treto, and Adam families, as well as Megan and her mom.
Gailon's photography business has been keeping him busy, now if he would only charge! It is a great way for him to keep up his photography skills as well as put the studio equipment to good use. As soon as the pictures are uploaded to his computer and fussed with a bit, I will post some here.
It was so fantabulous to be on a mini vacation, to see friends, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.
